Apple Pie Protein Shake

Fall is here, which means we need to eat and spice appropriately when it comes to our protein shake. That means all sorts of delicious fall flavors, include apple, pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon and more. We’re going to have you covered this fall when it comes to your protein shake needs and healthy recipe needs. This is the first in a serious of healthy and tasty fall recipes that are sure to taste delicious, and put you in that perfect fall mood.

First up is a delicious protein shake made with Beast Protein from Team Beast athlete Erica Altman.

Apple Pie Protein Shake! 🍎 💪🏼

Ingredients:
* 1 scoop vanilla Beast Protein powder
* 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
* 1/2 apple sliced (keep peel on – fun facts below)
* 1/4 cup apple butter (or applesauce)
* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
* 1/4 tsp nutmeg
* 1 cup ice

Instructions:
-Add all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth
-Whip cream is also mandatory!

FUN FACT: Apples are known to be a great source of BOTH soluble and insoluble fiber – about two-thirds of that fiber is found in the skin of the apple! So don’t throw away that peel!!! Plus all that fiber will keep you fuller, for longer!
